Seasons Of Change

Can you believe that it is almost May.....2017? That seems unreal. I am going to age myself, but I never could have imagined being where I am. 25 years ago I was  newly married, with a new baby...And now I am on my last child ready to graduate High school. While I have dreamed of this day for my kids, I never really thought it would come....when all my kids were adults....entering their own stages of life.  Excited for their futures, and ours. We married young, and had kids young, but we never really had a time together that it was "just us". Now we are entering the new stages of "just us".....No kids, no games, no activities, no school mornings, no teachers conferences, no giggling late night sleep overs, and so much more "no mores". But with the new stages of life we get the many more blessings.....grand-kids we get to love on, spoil, and send home, being friends with our kids, instead of the "mean parent", watching them grow in life and in love, and watching them extend their wings and fly. Proud of the amazing kids we raised! OKay I know this is a "real estate" blog, so what the heck is this mushy stuff??? This post is personally about my #millennial children, and I wanted to be real, and now the 'real estate' stuff!!

#Millennials are living with their parents longer than  they have in the past. Many of our children are living with their parents until the average age of 27!!  BUT the good news is Millennials are starting to buy homes!! This year our children are moving out of their parents home and buying their own home, and parents are buying their retirement home!! We have seen a massive movement into a sellers market!  Here in the #eastvalley we have seen a massive sellers market this year, with the average of less than 2 months of inventory being available. (This means if not one more home gets put on the market to sell, we will run out of homes for buyers in less than 2 months). Builders have started doing lottery lots again and bidding on the new builds....Good news for the #GEN-X that is thinking of selling, prices are rising, bidding wars and overall a great sellers market....bad news is the buyers are having to move quickly to purchase a home! The housing recovery is moving in the right direction, not to see where the next 18 to 24 months take us.....Until next blog, have a blessed day and if your thinking of buying or seller, give a call!! WE would love to see how we can meet your real estate goals.
